After I was laid off work, I took a Sabbatical and then decided to make a career change.  I wanted to start doing something I loved. 

I graduated from Pinnacle Career Institute's Massage Therapy program in October 2015.  While PCI's training introduced me to several modalities (deep tissue, neuromuscular, myofascial release, craniosacral, shiatsu, reflexology, facilitated stretching, hot stones, etc.), my favorite is still Swedish massage.  It truly is the foundation of massage.  

I currently work Saturday afternoons at Zen Massage in Olathe, KS; and by appointment at Avenue Hair/Crown Salon in Topeka, KS.  I prefer the convenience of working from my home (or at least closer to home).  I would eventually like to establish a regular massage business at a separate office location in Lawrence.
