Swedish Massage

$65 per hour

This is your standard massage offered at most places.  It consists of 50 minutes Swedish massage with 5 minutes changing time at the beginning and end. You are in and out in an hour.  (However, I prefer not to rush.  So, if you can allow an extra 15 minutes for changing and paperwork, I will give you a full 60 minutes of massage.)

Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels, improved blood and lymph circulation, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.

Deep Tissue Massage

$75 per hour

Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, trigger points, adhesions in fascia, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment.  Be sure to drink plenty of water to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session.  The deeper one goes, the slower the work must be.

Note:  Deep Tissue is not meant for tight muscles.  It is meant for working out trigger points and adhesions.  It is also meant to be used on limited areas at a time and not a whole body treatment.  Deep Tissue is best done on relaxed muscles.  Once the muscle is relaxed, you can focus on spots that need additional therapy.  The goal is to relieve pain, not to create more pain.  I liken deep tissue work to detangling hair.  You can force your way through hard and fast and suffer pain; or you can tease out the problem layer by layer.  The choice is yours.

Therapeutic Massage

$95 per 90 minutes

A slow and relaxing combination of Swedish and therapeutic techniques combined with soothing eye pads, hot towels, and/or a hot medi-stone if you wish.  This is a full 80-90 minutes of massage.  You won't be rushed in and out!  Be sure to allow extra time for coming and going.  Before leaving, you will find Lindor Chocolates or other candies.  You may also be offered a glass of Arbor Mist, a cup of tea, or a glass of Lavendar Lemonade to enjoy while filling out your paperwork beforehand.  The emphasis is on gently relaxing the muscles.  The added heat makes for a deeper, less painful massage that is both more effective and just plain feels good!

Side-Lying Massage

$50 per 45 minutes

The side-lying massage is designed for those with specific needs such as geriatric or pregnancy and is slightly shorter than the normal one-hour.  It helps to improve blood circulation, relieve pain, and increase range of motion.

Focus Massage

$35 per 30 minutes

30 minutes of therapeutic massage focused on the area of your choice...back, neck and shoulders, legs and feet, etc.

Or, 30 minutes of brisk light all over Swedish massage to invigorate your day.

Outcalls

$15 per outcall

There is an additional $15 fee added for outcalls. (For example, a $50 one hour Swedish massage at my location would be $65 if done at your home.)  Please be sure you have at least a 10'x12' empty space if you wish to have a massage done at your own location.
